Default wagon rear heated window

hi,
ive just bought back my old wagon which is great
but the rear heated window and the rear washer pump arent working,
the light for the heated window comes on but nothing happens,
filled up the rear bottle and used the stalk to spray rear window nothing happens,no moise from the pump.
ive checked all the fuses there ok,
its a jdm 97 started as a gravel express,
any suggestions i would be most greatfull

Do you have a circuit tester? or a multi-meter?

Get hold of one or the other and start by checking if the rear screen and the pump are getting power.

And check the fuses properly: see if they conduct electricity, NOT just by looking

i checked them with a DVM,
i was half hoping for a known problem,

the wiring through the rear tailgate can brake from opening and closing check with power probe or such if no supply then prob top left hand side of door pull back rubber gromit inspect the wires good luck
