What oil reading? The dipstick?

It's hard to understand your post, but are you saying you've drained the old oil and none came out, or that you have refilled but can't see it on the dipstick yet?

It can take a while, ESPECIALLY in cold weather.

Put in the CORRECT amount according to the manual, then walk away for a couple of hours, before checking it on a LEVEL area.
