odometer not working

Default odometer not working

Hi I have a 95 wrx STI and the odometer isnt counting up, its been like this for a while now and i fancy getting to the bottom of it any ideas what would cause it to stop counting up?? all the other dials are working fine.

The speedo head has 2 spindles one for the odometer and one for the trip counter and both work on cogs,so I would expect one of the cogs on the odometer spindle to have a worn tooth (this has happened on my old 93 wrx a few times ).
Best bet imo is to get a working speedo head (or cluster) then you can take the old one apart to see what is going on.
