Tow strap fitting

Default Tow strap fitting

Anyone fittted a tow strap to the front of a classic ????

I mean the TRS type straps...ive figured out the rear but just wondered where best on front ???

Looks too me as if i will need to cut a slot in front bumper in order to fit ??

Any help much appreciated

You can cut a slot in the passengers side fog light and bolt the strap to the chassis leg thats the easiest place. I have rigid alloy one coming through my fog light cover.

Thanks Arch......as its a strap type fitting i can just remove the cover for trackdays if fitted there....and let it hang down behind when not needed..

Just hope it clears the frontmount pipe as i have not flipped the cooler.................yet.

Think you should be fine the pipe should be low enough
