Default Creaking / knocking after fitting ALK

1st MOD on MY07 RB320;
Perrin front & rear drop links, with Perrin ALK, with full GEO set-up (sprint setting)

However, since fitting i've suffered with a creaking / knock from cold, with a squeek also, (all from the front end)
The creak / knock seems to lessen / go after about 7 or 8 miles once warm, but the squeek is all the time, even worse when warm.

Re; creak / knock-
I actually think it's the ALLOY packer blocks from the Perrin ALK that are creaking / knocking, after having the front sub-frame dropped.
Should they have been copper slipped?? As it does seem worse after driving in the rain??
Anyone else suffered this??

Re; squeak-
The dealer said they changed the front ARB bushes 6 months ago, so any ideas on what else it could be??

Iggy

I also have a rb320 but standard apart from dv and cat bk exhaust and have been havin the same prob. Sounds like u have locked the diff and the wheels are fighting against each other. A horrible knocking but only when it is cold out but cures it self once warmed up and only happens on full lock. I have asked a few people and come to the conclusion it's the diff oil bein very cold and thick as it's ok wen it's warmed up so hopefully nothin to worry abouts and would say it's not ur mods as it's qhppenin to me and it's standard

I had the same problem with my Perrin ALK on my WR1 and my Hawkeye STI, Pump plenty of grease into the grease nipples on the ALK and after a few miles it should stop squeaking.

Baz
It's definitely not my DIFF.

Dan
Did you get both the creaking & knocking, from the ALK? Or was it just a squeek?
Also, did the re-greasing cure the problem?

Cheers
Iggy
