Hi Guys, My cars in garage atm and has had a new block put in from a wrx import.. aparently the bloke is telling me hes having trouble getting water circulation.. its asif there is no pump... he has replace the thermostat etc? any ideas...

 

It could be an airlock, very easy to get if you don't fill slowly by the correct method.

But it could also be water pump failure: the pump turns OK, but the impeller wheel is loose on the shaft, so the shaft turns, but not the impeller.

 

ah right ok ill get him to see about replacing this.. any other suggestions?
