Sorry to hijack mate, but i also have a simtek controlled off the accelerator pedal, Map 1 is for V-power (99), Map 2 is for regular 95. Was just wondering if i had a mate to take the car for a spin, would it do ny damage to run the car on map 2 (95) wilst having a tank of 99 in the car??sorry if it seems daft, just thought it might be handy for him to gt used to the car on less power then when ready switch it to quicker map?
Thanks Rob

Sweet, just thought it might be handy, especially when the mrs borrows it (more economy, less boost!) wouldnt dream of running 99 map with 95 not quite that dull!!you say dont run anything but v-power, surely tesco momentum 99 will be ok??!

Changing it to switch activated is very straight forward as long as you have the dongle, cable & software. If you dont have these then you need a Simtek tuner.
