Default Forge actuator

How difficult is it to fit one of these to a 2006 2.5? heard its time consuming and bit of a specialist job what do you all reckon

why are you wanting to fit a forge actuator?

If it's for looks then fair enough but if its for a performance gain you are wasting your time as there is no gain that can't be achieved a lot cheaper and more effectively.

They are quite easy to fit by the way, easy diy job.

Just fitted one to my Hawkeye, very easy to do.

I was just wondering as i like the noise, I have a dump valve already but its a bailey and was thinking of changing it to a forge and just wondered how difficult it is too fit. jonny gav whjat other things could i do for cheaper to make more bhp? I have got a zaro sport hard pipe (not fitted yet) and was going to get a panel filter, just trying to get an exhaust but quiet type was going to buy a sti stainless but it never happened so still on the look out!
Scooby Arthur how long did it take you to do it? I am no mechanic but i have a can do attitude lol

Minimal difference for your £160.00 and time, remap would see you the best bang for buck imo.

With Regards to fitting, it's a simple job to do, just make sure you have the near stock spring pressure around 12 psi iirc on your actuator.

Took about half an hour if I remember correctly.

I got mine from Larkspeed £125, only £25 more than a Perrin 3 port solenoid. Will be mapped by Duncan as it has a stiffer spring fitted.
