Default sti ppp tuning advice

Hi can anyone give some pointers on getting a bit more power from my 2002 sti.

was thinking for starters , a panel filter and a ninja 2 silencer, straight centre section and decat downpipe all in 2.5 inch, or would 3 be better

was thinking about the ninja , as ive heard its a lot more quiet than the afterburner, which i need due to neighbors etc, but still can have a bit of noise

then getting mr forrest to remap the car, would i need a boost controller , ie a avcr etc or will it be ok on standard with the remap, although i did hear that the ecutek maps give you 2 boost switch, is there any truth in this.

as the car has ppp, just now, will i still notice a big difference after doing this work, what rough figures could i expect.

any help would be most appreciated, as you can tell, the impreza s still a bit new to me

cheers

Hi matey 2.5" is good for up to 400BHP(if you are going more than 400BHP you will need 3").
Your ECU have good boost control(at this point your ecu is very capable),and no boost controller at this point.
On standard ECU you can't have 2 maps(this feature is large available on aftermarket ECU like SIMTEK,GEMS,AUTRONIC etc.,where you can more than 1 map)
After remap you will notice the difference,i think 330-350BHP is good figure for STi

You can have two boost levels on the standard ecu using ecutek
