Default would a knackerd exhaust cause scobby to judder

I have my 95 import scobby booked in to garage tomorro I have been juddering when I put my foot down car holds back but I have a very blowey exhaust right were the center pipe meets the cat but it is very blowey could it be its sucking in air that's why its juddering may be no splits in pipes that I can see

Ok thought I would let you no had the decat done then right to another garage for fault code the was nothing major some thing was not plugged in I can't remember what it was now but today the car keep on juddering again when I put the window down I could hear a very faint rattle and it seems to becoming from the bottom of the engine I have a funny feeling the car is knackerd going back in for a check on the engine I'm gutted

Sorry to hear this mate, though sounds simular to what mine was doing for awhile, before it died further (see post on general technical titled 'please help bring my Scooby back to life') I really hope you get yours sorted asap just when you discribed it 'holding back under power and juddering it sounds exactly like mine. Be very interested to see how you solve this.
