After a flat out blast yesterday (Indicated 160 with 7000rpm)
backed off, and a short while later the 'Check Engine' light flashed on the dash!
Obviously, shat myself but nothing wrong with car, so let it idle for a bit, then turned the ignition off, and started it again, the light had disappeared! Just wondered if anyone else has experienced said problem??? Ps wasn't running hot, or overboosting

i fuc*ing hate that light , its evil!!!!! might be a sensor. but dont ignor it take it to a garage and get it checked on the computer. or under the sterring wheel, there are two connetions under the dash click then together male and female and it will bleep an number of times after an initial longer flash this will tell you the problem, ie one long flash the 2 flashes or one long one then three flahes etc then phone subura up and quote the number of flashes ie 1.3 flashes. somthing like that. one thing that light is evil get it checked mate i never and it cost me £2000
