Default help!

My turbo went on my 98 sti removed to find out iy was a td04l why would thar be fitted wouldnt cause running problems how about the ecu?

would it still have the same popwer output with the td04l on?

Well a tdo4 is pretty much maxed out at 280bhp which is about what your car was standard with the original vf turbo on.

Thats probably why the seals gave up then lol ive bought a vf24 to go back on so hopefully all good now so was prob done for a cheap fix
