Thank you to the few people that actually botherd to follow up their pre orders and send their money in for the LED's! They will be on the way when the cheque's have cleared.
I went to a lot of time, trouble and expense to get the LED's, as I had assumed that by the number of pre orders I had recived, I would at least get my money back. I was not after making pots of money I was just trying to help people! I am now left OUT of pocket and I feel let down by the people that pre orderd then didn't bother to reply when I emailed them to say that I had got them.
I only got the LED's due to the number of pre orders that I had received. I now wish I hadn't bothered.
So, after the end of this week, if I still haven't received any more orders (just to cover my costs) I will be getting rid of what I have left to someone who will sell them on his market stall.

Paul,
I am also one of the original interested ones.
I mailed your e mail link and didn't get a response. I require a full blue conversion for MY00, including all dash lights, LCD clock filter, fog light buttons, heater control surrounds and driver's side electric window button light.
Please could you email me asap to arrange this.
Many Thanks
Chris

Just a quick note to say a big thank you to Huxley for the Blue Bulbs. He kept to his word and sent out all bulbs very quickly. They are simple to fit (even the heater display bulbs), only took me about 30 mins. The results are much better than anticipated. Note to all that have let Huxley and the BBS down, you don't know what you are missing! Huxley check your mail tomorrow!

Hux,
Did get your mail, been out Karting all day , I'll try and give you a bell tomorrow to sort out where we go on this. Shame because the dash out is a 10min job, it would have been sooooo easy.
Oh well....
Speak (mon)
Cheers,
Simon

I have recently been to see Mook of MJDesigns in West Sussex to see what he could offer me in the way of blue dash conversions for my MY00.
We pulled the dash out and examined the dials and found that they have green filters in them. Hence changing the clear bulbs to blue ones will not work.
He has taken scans of my dials and is going to recreate them with blue filters. We examined the tacho and LCD clock and found that they have green filters moulded into the componentry so would be very difficult to change. He mentioned trying blue led lamps near them to change the light.
I'm not knocking your efforts Paul but, just wanted to make people aware that the 2000 spec cars are more difficult to change and that Mook now has a template to be able to create new dials.
I'd also like to thank Mook for the time and trouble he took over my car. You can view his work at www.mjdesignsuk.com

The MY2000 Subaru's have green filters on the lamps as I’m told and are the same as the MY01 Scoob going by the pictures that I have received of the lamps and dash.
I am in the process of trying to get lamps made to suite the 5mm design of the newer model Scoobs and this will also cater for the Vauxhall fraternity and Fords I am also In discussion with an Indiglo gauge manufacturer to get some mad at a reasonable price under £100.00 in the states as like this http://www.jwardell.com/focus/guages.html

I must point out that the green filter is built into the back of the white dash card dial and not in the bulb on MY2000 spec cars.
We tried placing a blue bulb in the back and lit it up. The display still lit up in green! So IMHO changing the clear bulbs to blue ones will not work. Mook of MJDesigns proved this when we took my dash to bits. As I said in my previous thread, he is now in the process of recreating them with blue filters to give me a blue lightup display.

I have a MY99 and I just replaced the bulbs with the blue ones I bought from Huxley here.. It was a hell of a job because the bulbs didn't fit my model so I had to take them out of the "socket", cut them smaller and then create some new socket together with the factory sockets (did this make sense?).. Anyway; I got blue dash alright, exept for the clock (anyone have any ideas?), but I couldn't figure out how to get the the bulbs behind the headcontrol etc.. I don't know if the bulbs will fit there either..
