Default Axle stands

I am all right with 3 ton jobbies from e-bay. Have changed pads just on car jack but need to do disks and want more stability. Does the jack and stands link represent good value?

I used 1.5 tonne axle stands to hold my RS6 entirely off the ground (all 4 wheels) and that is a heavy car 1800kgs.The way to look at it is the weight of the car will be evenly spread across the stands ie you wont have the full weight of the car on a single axle stand so 4 x 1.5 tonne stands would give a combined 6 tonne weight limit and the car only weighs 1800kg.A scoob is quite a bit lighter so the ebay ones will be fine

4 stands makes it easier but you could use 1 stand if you wanted,it will be absolutely fine.Just make sure that where you do this work is a level (or near to as possible) and not a cambered drive/road like i was contemplating
