hey as title says im waiting on a new blob eye 53 plate coming how many cats do these have as im trying to sort out decatting it?
is there one on down pipe then a centre cat is that it or?

Hello mate,

Depends on if a WRX or STi.

WRX has 3 cats (Downpipe , Uppipe and Centre/short pipe)

STi has 2 cats (Down Pipe and Centre/Short pipe)

thanks for the reply steve its a wrx new project for me really getting it next week thats great gives me something to work on buying before it comes already got the down pipe one so just need the centre and up pipe what gains are to be had bhp or torque from doing all 3? and will the engine management light come on with doing this etc?

 

you need to combine it with a remap to get the most out of it, I would wait until you decide on other mods then get the map done with them all fitted.

 

ok dont want to have to get too many maps done as its andy forrest up here ecutek first one with licence is 500 so ill just hold off until i get some other bits will be 565 injectors and hopefully a vf34

 

oh and obviously another set of harvey headers lol
