CEL light - code 32 - advice please
MY99 UK
Driving home from a gig last night at CEL came on. Took it easy home and checked and fiound code 32 - this is Lamda, right?
Now, this morning I started her up - no light. Drove to work (only about 1 mile) - still no light.
Last week I had my exhaust with DECAT removed and original exhaust, centre and downpipe WITH CAT refitted.
Please forgive my stupidness here - So I had a look in engine bay at downpipe this morning, and coming off the top of downpipe is a the LAMDA right? The little white plug from this - I'd be right in thinking this SHOULD surely be plugged into the other white plug next to it, otherwise the lamda is not even connected?
So anyhow, have just reconnected these - do you think I'd be ok to do an ECU reset now and that'll be that? Haven't driven it yet, but since refitting the exhaust last week the car had been driving absoultely fine, even when the CEL came on last night.
Cheers

have just been reliably informed from another forum that classics can do many miles with the lamda unplugged before chucking a CEL, and just to do a reset and all should be well.
