Question WR1 Block, extra crankcase vent ?

In the middle of putting together a replacement engine for my Bugeye, the donor block is from a WR1 (STi 8 ?)

It has the usual crankcase vent near cylinder number three (that usually connects to the purge control valve), it also has another, similar looking, vent quite close to it.

Anyone know what this is for ?

I am going to be running all the breathers to a catch can anyway, do I just need to 'T' this extra outlet in as well ?

Any suggestions welcome !

You can connect to your catch tank or most conversions blank it off.

Blank it off as you will get too much oil splash coming up the centre breather.
