Default prodrive ecu-is it worth it?

Hello,
as my clutch seems to be OK i have a bit of spare cash, and I have been offered a prodrive ECU for £250 (it is a genuine jobby from an 03 plate car) I have 2 questions, firstly is that a good price and secondly what gains can I expect?my 52 plate wrx runs cat back system, panel filter and thats about it?worth it or not?
cheers
Baggy

if yours is a bugeye and ecu is from a blobeye it wont fit, if it is from same model car you still need to get a decat centre and intercooler hose, then get keys programmed to it, A custom openecu tune will be £350 so would be better value. I collected all ppp parts for my car and fitted them, was happy with it, but you already have non pp mods so ecu might not be 100% suitable

You'll still need to get an uprated fuel pump. Is it an STi or WRX PPP ECU?

There is not a centre cat. It's a resonator box

there is a short cat pipe after the downpipe that has to be removed maybe should call it third cat as part of ppp. This along with backbox and intercooler hose are only mechanical mods. Then a generic ppp map is applied to ecu
