Question Classic injector

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help... have a Classic, UK Scoob 98,with the nice red check engine light currently on, as a result of fault code 17, ( injector 4) The stealers wish me to part with £173.91 for a new one, and wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to where else i may be able to source one from??

Cheers, Rich.

It may just be a bad connection at the injector it may be worth checking the pins on the injector are making contact with the electrical plug.

Cheers Iain

Thanks Iain, to be fair it would explain the intermittent smell of fuel at start up, as if its dumping a load before firing up, suggests its knacked.. but will give it a double check

I've got an injector that you can have for £20 posted, if you're still looking for one. - Sounds like your current faulty one may well be sticking open - What does the 'offending' spark plug look like?
