Hi there's a prodrive rear section exhaust for sale in the pics it has "06 2.5 wrx" written on the side, I have a 2.0 05 blob eye sti ... Would this bolt straight on and will I notice any sound difference ?

It will bolt straight on, yes you will notice a sound difference, a bit deeper and more purposeful, but not that much louder as the exhaust still has to meet type approval drive by noise limits.

Put it on and get a centre decat section off the bay as a first. I have been running my 06 wrx like this for ages and the sounds nice. Not to loud but has a nice burble.

Going for full decat but going to keep my prodrive back box as i love the sound.

 

when you did those changes, did you have to do any adjustments to the ecu, mapping, etc???

no changes at all to the map as its just the centre cat that is removed. Made a change to the sound and also made a change to the spool up. Runs really well like this. Change panel filter to K&N as well. Sounds great on cold winter mornings and when its had a hard run out, Real deep burble.
I went for the scorpion centre section decat as they were readily available and it flew through its MOT no problems like this.
