Default Airbag control unit

I have no airbags left in my car and I was wondering if anyone knew whether removing the airbag control unit would leave the airbag light on. I know it did on my old cavalier. I currently have resistors in all of the sockets fooling the ACU.

Cheers

Jon

I'd imagine it would leave the light on, as it would almost be like a break in the circuit, pretty much in the same way the light comes on when you unplug the fuse.

I suspect as much, I was just wondering if anyone knew from experience. On my cavalier I one of the connections would complete a circuit if it was unplugged and by shoving in a slither of plastic it would open the circuit and cancel the light.
