Default Decat downpipe and Prodrive performance pack

Hello everyone, i currently own a 2007 hawkeye Impreza WRX with Prodrive Performance Pack and i was wondering if i can fit a decat downpipe such as this one- http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...oducts_id=1117 - so that it is compatible with the PPP. Do i need to change anything else? do you have any suggestions? thanks in advance, take care

General consensus will be that you should have a remap. However, i did have an STI V with a prodrive ECU full decat and i didnt remap it and had no problems.

There are also lots of other DP's out there, scoobysport, TSL motorsport, Magnex, cobra.

Wish i was in portugal. is it sunny?

so i can fit a decat downpipe with the PPP and have an ECU remap after fitting it. any suggestions on a good maker/brand of downpipes which i can buy online? This will probably be one of the first mods i'll make to my hawkeye. others include turbo timer, induction kit, front and rear strut braces and dump valve. Any other suggestions to essential mods?

p.s.- sunny as hell, 30 degrees and having loads of forest fires over here.

Mine was fine. To be on the safe side should run off boost till remap.

I used a scoobysport downpipe and transformed the car. Definately increased the Db's!! PLenty of others. scoobybits, scoobyworld all do them.

hope this helps

induction kit and dumpvalve are both unnecessary mods, and induction kit could cause the car to run lean without having it mapped to suit
Just add a panel filter in std airbox and leave the standard dumpvalve on, personally I wouldn't bother with a decat, best bang per buck on your car would be a vf43 turbo off an sti and a remap, if you want to improve exhaust then get a sportcat unless you have no emmisions on equivalent to our mot test.
The sti ppp at 320bhp still had standard downpipe so it must flow good enough for that, best ask a mapper though for best advice.
