Default high speed wibble / wobble

hey folks ive been having some wibble / wobbles at high speed >90
(this was when i was at knockhill a while back)

now i have an 03 sti with k sport 356mm 8 pots on the front with o.e - 2 pots rears

it happens when im not braking and it also happens when i am

dont think it happened when i had my 4 pots

could this be a geo problem or possibly a brake bias problem

i do also run a very aggressive offset (could this be a contributing factor)

cheers in advance

Does that not rule out the brakes then

It could be a disc ballance problem , if you have just fitted the brakes and now it does it , it sounds like it could be related

I would have the wheels balanced and the car aligned.

You will have gone a bus ride away from the "factory settings" if you have altered the offset significantly... Thus the effect of variations in tyre grip will have a greater turning moment about the centre of the car...

Or your wheel bearinga are shot ?

dunx

P.S. What offset, spacers used, who fitted the brakes ?

how can this be fixed, would the brakes have to come off

Not at the very first instance, the offset will exaggerate things tho'...

ive got two sets of alloys (rota's - road / pff7's - track)

would it make a difference if i got a geo set up with my rota's on
and then swapped to my pff7's for the track days

Geo won't change, but if the offset is very large, you may need advice on the best set-up and decide on road or track, or somewhere in the middle, IMHO.
