Question Reuse of arp head studs

ARP tech told me that i can reuse my head studs

they said

when you torque the studs you're stretching them.. when you loosen them again, they return to there previous state. ARP studs are designed to do this over and over without un-loaded stretching or fatigue.

anyone done this, cause it will save me £200 i havent got.

and its from arp techs mouth

I would be surprised if this was the case.
If a bolt or stud remains stretched after use it's surely an indication that it has experienced loading beyond it's elastic limit and therefore will have lost clamping force.
Check ARP site here:

true but depending heat experienced although arp may not stretch they may seriously discolour with heat and from that would be discouraged by metal fatigue.

I wouldn't as I had one snap which meant the fun of engine out again.
