Default VF35 vs VF48 on Blobeye STi

Hey guys,

Currently got a VF35 on my Blobeye STi.
Looking to change to something slightly bigger in the future, and to something which doesn't suffer from compressor surge like the VF35. So my conclusion comes to the VF48, which I'd imagine would work very well - with a decent power increase? Also with buying a 48 and selling my 35, it wouldn't cost too much to change!

Thoughts?

Yep

Nice turbo the 48 and works well on the 2.0 sti

Always nice when my mapper chimes in

So it is definitely an upgrade then Duncan? It would seem that I'm after more power already, but it will probably be more like 6months before I do it. Don't want to offend my conscience lol !

Fueling, just get an FPR, or just bigger injectors? Or both ?

I'd say both really but modified 550's should do it.

Good luck in finding a decent condition/priced second hand one for sale, they seem to be as rare as hens teeth.

what sort of power does that turbo kick out then as ive got an sti with 35 on and would like a bit more,im doing around 330 and cant afford the usual md 321h.

I know they can go up to 370 on a 2.5 with basic supporting mods, not sure about the 2.0

would i need injectors,and headers and up pipe to get that sort of power or standard sti ones ?
