Hello,

Recently fitted Eibach lowering springs to my classic MY00 impreza, shortly after fitting them a knocking noise has appeared at the front.

Ive had a look around the suspension and after taking the little caps off the top of the struts (under the bonnet) i noticed that on both sides when turning the steering wheel dont rotate smoothly and i believe this is where the noise is coming from.

Does this mean that the top mounts are knackered because of the bearings not rotating smoothly?
