Default WHAT STI ENGINE

Hi all just some info needed please,
i have a uk turbo wanting to put a sti engine in there had diff people telling me different things like use this block n put this version heads on im pulling my last bit of hair out,
any body help me please what version sti block n heads shall i use many thanks in advance..

What model year of classic is it? Also are you aware you will most likely need to either have your own ECU remapped (if possible), transplant the STi wiring loom/ECU, or use an aftermarket mappable unit in? Swapping the engine is only half of the job if you want your car running properly afterwards.
