Default Cold air feed - fitting advice

Hi

I have a Hawkeye WRX and have just bought this:

http://www.kstech.biz/servlet/the-40...STI-big/Detail

Is fitting this simple? My concern is, when I remove the standard air box will exposed hole big enough for the new filter cone to fit through?

Thanks
Gez

You'll probably have to install the filter separately by feeding it up through the wheel arch, so the arch trim needs peeling back. This can be done without removing the wheel.
It'll definately need a remap.

Given where you are, an appointment with Zen Performance or Dynamix would be advisable.

Thanks Butty, the car is already a Duncan baby. I'm was gonna try and do the fitting myself and the get Duncan to tweak. Now knowing it has to go through wheel linning I'll probably get Tim (used to be at Zen) to do it when he does the other things before the map tweak.

cheers for the heads up mate

Forgot to add that the resonator box needs removing anyway and that's inside the wing.
