Default new boy.

Hi guys, just thought id introduce myself on the forum and ask a few questions about my car. My names tim, i live in cheshire and ive recently bought a 96 type ra, which has been a group n rally car.
SPEC.
closed deck block,
close ratio 5spd g/box,
front mount cooler,
td05 16g turbo,
gems ecu,
walbro fuel pump,
hks mushroom air filter,
dayama coilovers, (new)
d2 8pots and 358mm discs,(new)
stripped and caged,
group n exhaust, decat.

Im currently in the process in turning it into track/sprint car. I will get some pictures posted asap. My 1st job is to try and stop it blowing up, big end failure etc. Im thinking of fitting a 19 row oil cooler with thermo sandwich plate, a cosworth baffle plate for the sump, and modding the oil pump valve to stop it sticking.
Does this sound ok to you guys?
Could you recommend any suppliers/ tuners that could fix me up.
Im also gonna be doing the roll bars drop links etc, so any more help advice would be much appreciated. Cheers guys.

PS, do you know if any of the internals have been upgraded on your car?

Hi, thanx for the reply. Ill hav a look at rcm. The internals are standard as far as i know.

But ive heard things that say sum ra,s might hav forged pistons?? But im not sure. Not

gonna be on the hunt for mad power, 300ish wud be fine. and just try and make it as

reliable as pos but on a strict budget.
