get yourself down to the scrap yard and find an old shape metro. There is a pipe on the carb that was built for the job.

the problem is the autometer gauges dosen't come with the joining pipe between the nipple and the gauge piping provided.
i used a peice of diesel fuel pipe from halfords.

i fitted mine before christmas and have had no problems.

i keep meaning to buy a piece of proper boost piping sometime, if i every see some.

i'll show you what i did with mine at the big one, sunday.

ps, did you buy a dawes in the end, how is it ?

What I did (on my MY01) was get a 1/8" T-piece from halfords, in their washer jet department. with a little drilling down one of the pipes on the t-piece, the autometer stuff fitted right in. I glued it for some security. rubber hose fits nicely on the t-piece, and on the MY01 you have to tee off an existing pipe.

Since you've got a nipple to use, you could get the same t-pice from halfords, and fix the autometer pipe into it as above. then chop that part of the t-piece off, and you should find that your rubber hose will fit onto it, thus using one third of the t-pice as an adaptor. secure with zip tie. put other end of rubber hose on the manifold nipple.
