Default Engine cutting out when clutch is in

Hi guys another problem for me...I bought a hks dump valve from a another scooby owner. The problem is that since I've installed the dump valve on my Subaru impreza rb5 t reg...it kills the engine if I'm giving it some stick, or got the clutch in whilst breaking through gear change. I don't know what the problem is, is it cause my engines recirculating and the dump valves atmospheric...if this is the problem can something be bought to change the fitting on hks ssqv 2 for it work properly...I've had so much done to my car since I bought it just over 3 weeks ago, the problem is I don't know much about cars and wanted a weekend car and always wanted a scooby. It would great help if you guys could help me thanks...

Did you change the dumpvalve gasket? It sounds to me that you may have a air leak. The original dump valve is better anyway. Atmospheric dump valves tend to make the engine overfuel as well.

As it only started after fitting the HKS refit the OE dump valve and see if it improves. If it does then the issue is the HKS dump valve, not saying it is faulty. If fault is still there then you know it is something else. It is just a case of systematically working through what you have had done. Would be worth putting a complete breakdown of what you have had done as someone might have been there before.
