Howdy,
I'm just about to embark on hopefully my last rebuild!
The engine failed on my family holiday in france 5 weeks ago,
Car just arrived home to Ireland yesterday,
Anyway, I have a new 2.5 linered bottom end bought from a chap in bristol,
And I'm just gathering bits for the rebuild,
I have tried Group N engine mounts before and they here very harsh with every vibration coming through to the car!
So I put the standard ones back in, but when the turbo comes on boost the 511lb/ft twists the engine some much that the tail pipe melts the exhaust!
So My question is, Has anyone used the STI branded uprated engine mounts for DH cars, Are they a happy middle option? or the same as group N ones??
