Doorcards:
Carefully prize off the window switch panel, it comes from the front, and the door opener surround. Disconnect the window switch.
There are two screws, one under the window switches, one under a cover near the front of the door. DO NOT touch the large screw in the centre of the door opener.

Using a large flat-bladed screwdriver, or a table fork, or spoon, handle, etc, insert it under the front lower edge of the door card, about 25cm up, move it down until you find the first clip, and prize it up. Continue round the bottom of the door.
Once all clips are undone, lift the doorcard off the top and remove it.
Refitting is the reverse, but remember to thread the wires for the window switches through their cutout before fastening the doorcard in place.

Power cable: You can run it through either the aircon grommet, which is oval, about 40mm across and on the bulkhead on the n/s, or there is another near the clutch master cylinder.

Once through, if you remove the door kick-trims, (three clips in the footwell and prise out four clips along the top, make sure the clips are TOGETHER before refitting to the car, and reinserting their centres, it's easy to get one bent up and the trim panel doesn't fit right), you'll see what I mean when one is out.
You'll see a space under the trim panel for plenty of wires. DON'T forget a suitable fuse near the battery
