Default TD05 VF22

which would be the better turbo to fit to a 2.0 cdb in a 1998 sti with 440 injectors. Also would larger injectors be of any use on either of these turbos or will the 440`s exceed the limitations of the turbo

440cc will do about 330-340bhp - pretty much the same as the TD05 16g (but you'd also need a better IC too - think the 1998 v.4 TMIC is good for 320-330 odd).

The VF22 is a 'bigger' turbo I believe (has a bigger compressor I think) and I think it can do at least 350-370 (some people say <400, but I'm not so sure ). Whatever, you'd need bigger inj. - ideally 550cc.

Bottom line: if you fit 550cc (and a suitable IC) and get either turbo mapped, etc, then you'll be giving either turbo every chance of making its respective maximum power output...
