Default OIL PUMP MODD

Hello, does anyone on here have a guide to modding the oil pump? pics would be helpful. Wanted to do mine but didnt want to pay through the teeth as times are hard at the mo.

ive got a sti version 6 99 and been told that its due to the pressure relief valve sticking that causes engine failure and the famous bottom end knock.

cheers guys.

Well your oil pump on your version 6 (its an MY00 btw) is 10 years old, your best off with a new one anyway.

Options are a 200 quid oil pump or a 3.5k rebuild, just modifying a tired oil pump isnt a good idea to start with and its just not oil pumps that cause failures, det can cause big end failure too, I would invest in a KS3 knock analyser also (also a little over 200 quid).
