Can you put a turbo engine in a non turbo car??

As above can i buy a non turbo classic to put my re-built turbo engine in?? Its an EJ20 from my 1998 uk turbo.

The Engine will fit

Getting it running is a different sotry altogether
getting the brakes setup/driveshafts etc is also another story
getting the wiring loom/ecu setup is another story

and so on

buy a turbo car,its cheaper

so in short,yes you can fit a turbo engine into a sport/gl shell but will spend double on getting it the same as a wrx etc

yep. major PITA. as rig says buying a turbo car from the off is cheaper.

Thanks lads, point taken didn't know what was involved.
Really struggling to find a cheap rolling car with blown engine or something.

seen a few on the bay, he wanted £700 but think the auction went passed £1200 which is funny,if someone had turned up earlier they could of got it for £700

theres 1 on here for £1700 i think,sure he would take £1200/£1300 with a smidge of bits misisng if you have the engine
