depends which classic you have?
bigger better brakes would be top of my list

Mine too.
Then I'd go bigger wheels to fit over them, then maybe solid droplinks, an ALK and a geometry set up.
I have coilovers on mine which are also pretty good.

But be VERY careful modding the engine, or it WILL go bang, and trust me, it's expensive when it does
