Default rear diff plug

hi looking to change the rear diff oil on my jdm blobeye sti but the top filler hole has a kind of nut with a plug on the end of it,is it still the same to fill ie loosen this to fill,as its not the same as my old bug or classic as i just used a ratchet for these any info would be great cheers

The nut with the plug on should be your diff oil temp sensor. After removing the sensor wire I turned the whole thing out, big plug out with the sensor inside. Was something like a 32 or 34mm spanner.
