Default speed limiter removal

after some advice please i have a 94 jap import and want to remove the limiter is this difficult also would a z4 ecu benefit the performance i have already got induction kit,scrolled manifold,decated,dump valve,and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. thanks

you have all this work done with out a remap? the z4 ecu will prove to be no better at adjusting to your modifications than your current ecu. you will need a full remappable ecu to ensure your engine remains safe with the modification you have already done on the car.

There are two ways to do this. either keep your current ecu and add ESL daughter board or get a completely different ecu that is fully programmable. (simtek, ecutek, motec, apexi et al)
