Default Grinding noise when clutch pedal is released

Impossible to diagnose over he internet but any thoughts welcomed. When the engine is warm and you change gear under hard acceleration as you lift the clutch pedal AFTER engagin the gear there is a grinding noise and vibration through the pedal, the same happens as you down change doing heel-and-toe blips.

Hope it is a new clutch rather than the gearbox going but any thoughts welcomed.

siggot bearings aren't expensive its the labor cost for taking the gearbox out and putting it back in

Sounds like doing the clutch and the flywheel at the same time makes sense if the whole thing is apart

Thanks for the help mate

Well, new clutch and the noise is still there although it is not as bad as before and not as pronounced. Clutch linkage or master cylinder perhaps?

Have you got the flywheel inspection plate in place?

It's on top of the block, underneath the TMIC and to the right of the turbo...
