as the thread suggests, are these a simple swap over from wrx ones or are other bits needed ?

You need alloy wheels that will clear the calipers, so for you, it will be pre MY05 STI wheels for the correct 100pcd.

Also if fitting rears you need thicker handbrake shoes to compensate for the larger hub dia of the sti. Also not sure about rears but on the fronts the mounting bolts are different as the thread in the alloy sti caliper is a different size to the 4 pot ones.
