Default Steering wheel fitting

Just looking for a bit of help. Changed the steering wheel today and had to remove the air bag wiring and some wiring for the horn. But when i got it all rebuilt the speedo has stopped working. Can someone tell me if any of the wires that go into the wheel have anything to do with the speedo. And is there a fuse for the speedo. Cheers John.. car is 98 sti with simtek.

AFAIK, no wires that go to the wheel have owt to do with the speedo.

Did you have the battery disconnected when you did the job?

You are a fool then.

The airbag is an explosive device. Removing it WITHOUT disconnecting the battery is asking for trouble, you'll be lucky if it doesn't go off for no reason one day.

Try using the SEARCH function on here.

No your a fool, ya muppet. Dont post on my thread with stupid comments. I,ve removed a few airbags and ive always just unpluged them and never had any problems. Air bags dont just explode when you pull the plug from them its the same as stopping the power getting to them. Plus the alarm and immobiliser was on so it would be breaking the power anyway.
