Question MY98 (PPP fitted) and VF28?

Cheers mates!

I'm from Germany and dumb. Although i know several people driving Scoobys (mostly Newage models) no one really could answer my question.

There's also some Classic drivers but only one more with a MY98 (he is using an APEXI Power FC).

My MY98 wagon has fitted the PPP and i was wondering if it was a good idea to fit a VF28 without any further modifications? Do you think this could work or further modifications are needed?

Or maybe you recommend the use of any other turbo when fitted the PPP to a MY97/98?

Regards,
Andy

To benefit from fitting a vf28 you would need to get it remapped otherwise its not worth doing realy

Your ppp was designed to be used with the td04 turbo, that i am assuming your car came fitted with as std. If you simply bolt on a vf28 (which is what i have done ,with a remap)you cant just expect the ecu to react the same as when a td04 is fitted. Whats worse is your depending on what month in 1998(before sept) your car was made, you might find that your ecu cant be mapped either. Stick with the std td04 imho

Thanks for your replies! I'll stick with the td04.

Cheers,
