If you only think you need to lay out the cash, why not prove it out. What makes you think you need a lambda sensor ?

over fueling lambda sensor locking out lean so ecu compensating by chucking fuel in but £132 +vat against £43 for a bosch one would rather try non gen

no fault codes as very rare a lambda has total failure they usually fail at one end of there scale so ecu doesn't see a fail if it locks either end it just bungs fuel in or leans right off

just need know if ls02 is correct universal fit as there is a few others

If your sure it's a lambda sensor, why fit a cheapo one IMHO genuine has gotta be the one, iv fitted cheap lambda sensors to cars before there about as good as cheap cat converters!!! Good for about a year.

I dont class bosch as cheap quality wise they are fitted to most cars i work on from factory Bentley,Rolls Royce,BMW, Merc,VAG the quality is fine no issues there I will be pulling engine this winter for a full rebuild so prob new gen sensor then as i will be doing it over a year and a new sensor now may not work perfect come fire up time after a year in the parts bins

we dont fit cheap cats or lambdas i know what you mean they pass one year and not the next, that price is what i pay rrp is £82 on a bosch ls02 i know you cn find them cheaper on net but i get mine direct from bosch uk
