fuel gauge not working
well i just put 55 quid in my 93 turbo 2000 and its showing as a quarter of a tank which i know this is wrong and i am going on a long drive tommorrow is there any way of fixing this. cos i aint gonna have a clue how much i will have left when driving
Forget the fuel gauge reading and just zero the odometer. You should get at least 220 miles on £55 (c.5miles/litre), at today's petrol prices (e.g. V-Power in Leic was 1.229p/litre today).

For a proper fix when you have time, remove the binnacle and see if you can reset the needle to full, the next time after you fill up. Other wise you'll need a new binnacle with a working fuel gauge (obviously).
I have a spare MY93(to MY96) binnacle -- I fitted a laser cut ally bezel inside it to bling it up a bit. Let me know if you need it - you can have it for about £20 to get you back up and running. (If you don't like that ally bezel, then you can remove it and simply refit your existing one instead...).
