bugeye ecu
hi there i have a 2001 wrx which i belive is a euro spec car are all the ecu,s the same and the same wireing harness? i think there is a 221bhp which is euro and 240 which is the other . i want to fit a prodrive ecu which claims 265 would it fit and just need key coding? is it a case of looking at my ecu code and matching it up or any bugeye ecu will fit thanx

Yes just fit the ecu and get keys coded but it will need other supporting mods to make that power and if youhavee ventured away from the standard spec for the prodrive version it will need mapping to be safe (and make the power) - by the time you do this you may as well just get your standard ecu mapped....

Just a decat and remap will give you great performance, you can then decide later if you want the hassle and expense of bigger turbo, injectors and sti tmic.
