forge or oem actuator
Hi people, i have a 97 impreza turbo 2000 with a td04, i think the actuator is sticking or has a weak spring as i am lacking power.
I have been looking around for replacement actuators and was wondering are the forge and oem actuators on the same par or is one better for my car than the other?
any info would be great

The forge actuator will have a much harder spring so hold boost alot better through the rev range also stop any potential boost creep you might encounter. (not sure if there adjustable aswell?)
but you can pick up a perfect condition td04 actuator dirt cheap so it's really up to you cost wise as the forge will cost more... if your keeping your current turbo setup then possible invest in a forge actuator but if you are thinking of upgrading or selling on have the extra and just stick with a good old td04 replacements.
but that's just my 2p lol

Thanks for the info, think i will go with the forge as im not planning on selling and as for upgradeing, a remap would be the only other engine mod i will do.
