STI Spoiler for my WRX
Hi All,
Im after an STI spoiler for my WRX 2003, have been looking at this one:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA...item3a5b28173f
Couple of questions:
How do i fit this?
Need it painted red - Approx cost?
Do you think it will look okay on a standard looking WRX or will it look out of place (I got de-badged boot, afterburner, std alloys), am going to do STI scoop next too
Cheers all

Quite a cheap price. I'd personally NOT buy one made from f/glass for these reasons:
They are much heavier than standard, so your boot will shut with a bang unless you are v.careful, leading to cracking of spoiler, and see below
they DO crack.
They can also suffer from paint going orange-peel, even when done properly.
Cost to paint one will be between £150 and £250.
If you want one, I'd either: get a GENUINE one, they are made from ABS and are available from breakers...........dearer than that one though
Or look for one made from PU.
HT Autos are supposed to be good.

Hi mate.My genuine STi 8 spoiler was damaged by vandals in Feb and quoted £250 to repair as new inc spraying. However i have funds available and feel like a change,so getting second hand v6 style spoiler end of April. Will be looking to sell my STi 8 spoiler for under £100 if collected.Don't know if you'd be interested, but pics available with your email address.
