air con leaks
Ive had mine recharged and its working but now I can see why it didnt work when i got it. 3 places in particular. The condenser where the pipes go down either side of the spy glass thing. Second place is front left radiator where there is a 2 bolt joint. 3 rd place is the two bolts side of the compressor. The green dye oil is weaping out at the mating surfaces. Is the only remedy renewal of all the alluminium parts as there do not appear to be gaskets as such. No quick fixes?

The lines are fitted with o-rings mate, if you've lost your gas again it would be wise to fit new o-rings anyway. O-rings aren't expensive anyway.

You can by aircon leak stoppers, it's like rad weld I can't say iv ever used it but it could be worth a try. The trouble with a/c is it works on such high pressure if you cure one of your three leaks the other two are gonna get worse. Strictly speaking if you can see there is a leak whoever charged it shouldn't have!! Anyway if it loses all it's gas again you gotta start with sealing up the leaks you can see

Thanks for the replies. I was told no leaks could be found and at the time of recharge nothing was coming out. Oh well its maybe worth a return visit to see what can be done. It certainly gives me the impression the whole thing is just not a good fit any more through lack of use. See on pic that the leak is not the pipe entry as such but the join of the plate to the cannister
