Hi all, my v2 sti ra goes fine but has a splutter between 6k and 7k rpm once it gets past 7 its fine again. Dont always happen just 90% of the time. It always starts at exactly 6k rpm and according to my boost gague its only pushing 12psi at the time but could be 14psi as gague is dodgy. What sort of boost should the car have standard? All i have is a filter and full exhaust. I got the car with a 2.2 bottom end and blown head gaskets and have fitted a standard v2 sti engine in again but am using inlet manafold and loom from std sti (without the fake 5th injector). Should i have used my own manafold and loom? Any help appreciated

Cheers mate I have the coilpacks from my old engine ill try that then. If it was that then i think i know which one as one plug was all sooted up and the rest were fine.
